This is a small personal business site run by Ulyses "Chino" Perez. The policy is short because the data handling is simple. The site does not track you, run analytics, or sell anything about you.
What gets collected
- What you send. When you use a form on this site, it passes your name, email, and whatever you write so Chino can read it and reply.
- Basic server logs. The host records standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested, which keeps the site running and secure.
- Your settings. Theme and accessibility choices are saved in your own browser. They stay on your device and are never sent to Chino. See the cookie notice.
That is all. There are no advertising or analytics cookies.
How it gets used
Your message is used to answer you and, if it is about a deal, to evaluate that deal. The legal bases, where laws like the GDPR require one, are your consent when you choose to write, and Chino's legitimate interest in answering you and keeping the site secure. Your information is not sold, rented, or handed to advertisers.
The one service provider
This site is hosted on Netlify, which acts as the service provider (processor). Netlify stores the site, keeps standard server logs, and delivers form submissions to Chino. No other third party, analytics company, or ad network receives your information.
How long it is kept
Messages and the contact details in them are kept only as long as needed to handle your inquiry and any deal that follows, and then deleted, typically within about twelve months of the last contact unless you ask to keep talking. Host server logs roll off on the host's normal schedule. You can ask for your information to be deleted sooner at any time.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask Chino to show you what he has, correct it, delete it, or send it to you in a portable form, and you can object to or restrict how it is used. To use any of these, email the address below.
EU and UK (GDPR / UK-GDPR): you have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict, object, and data portability, the right to withdraw consent, and the right to complain to your data-protection authority.
California (CCPA / CPRA): you have the right to know, delete, and correct your personal information and to not be discriminated against for asking. Chino does not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of, but you are entitled to a clear "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" answer, and the answer is that it never happens.
Children
This site is not meant for children. Chino does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13 (COPPA). If you think a child has sent information, email the address below and it will be deleted.
International visitors
The site is hosted in the United States. If you write from another country, your message is processed in the United States. Sending it is your choice.
How it is protected
Traffic is served over HTTPS, and access to your message is limited to Chino. No site is perfectly secure, so this is reasonable care, not a guarantee.
